33cl bottle from a trade with omhper, many thanks! Pours slightly hazy dark amber colour with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of strong red malt, spruce, nuts, raisins. Taste of intense strong red malt, intense bitter hops, spruce, raisins, nuts, really good!

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy amber, mid sized head. Rich aroma of seville orange marmelade against a backdrop of caramel. Mid sweet with medium-full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Tea, orange, pine and bready caramel. Long bitter finish. Rich and harmonious.

Flaske delt med Ovesen ombord på Fridtjofen etter Monkey Brew sitt krankupp, okt-16: Lett uklar rødgylden med flott skum som varer. Solid humleprofil i en solid maltkropp - meget velbalansert. Appelsinmarmelade, karamell og snev av solmoden ananas. En velgjører for tørste syklister.

Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 20.10.16. Orange. Off-white head and lacing. Superbly well-balanced aroma and taste of English orange marmalade and pale malt. Absolutely excellent drinkability.

Bottle. A really well balanced and surprisingly drinkable strong ale with notes of burned caramel, almonds, nuts, salt and bitter herbs. Lovely!

Bottle from Systembolaget. A bit hazy amber with a medium head. Aroma and taste of malt, caramel, citrus and hints of orange. The body was medium and the bitterness rather relaxed.
