Served hot at campervan taproom, as winter spiced. Pours murky orange brown, nose is apple, cinnamon, pie, taste is sweet, spiced, apple.

I was feeling a bit guilty about enjoying this one, as it's basically a cider made more appealing by the addition of adjunct fruit and spices. Then it was important to acknowledge the sheer quantity of beer out there with fruit, or vanilla, or whatever, that basically uses these adjuncts to mask a very average beer, in many cases. Anyway, it pours a murky ditchwater colour. The carbonation is gentle. The nose is of apple strudel with cinnamon, brown sugar and baked apple notes coming together nicely. The taste keeps the promise in what is a light to medium bodied cider. Overall, no need to feel guilty about enjoying this, it's enjoyable!

750ml bottle from Dunkertons. Murky orange golden-brown colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, ginger. Taste is apple strudel, cinnamon, nutmeg, spice, and citric, with some mellow tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, mulled spiced apple finish. Quite drinkable.
