75cl bottle from Appellation Wines.
Appearance - open with a pop, steady carbonation and golden in colour.
Nose - sweet and at the same time bruised apple with hay lurking.
Taste - zingy fresh apple and again with a sweeter backdrop.
Palate - light to medium bodied, dry and zingy finish. Good linger.
Overall - great stuff!

750ml bottle from Little Pomona. Slightly hazed orange gold colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates to a thin rim and aroma of apple, some mucky funk, caramel. Taste is sweetish, apple, tangy, funky, leather, barnyard, hints of caramel & wood barrel, with some tart acidity and drying earthy tannins. Medium bodied, light carbonation, dry tart & tannic finish. Very drinkable.
