1L plastic bottle from Greendale Farm shop, Exeter. Clear orangey gold colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, fruit, sharp funk. Taste is sweetish, fruity, apple, with orchardy funk, leather, wood, earthy, some tartness and drying tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry tangy tart & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

From a bag in the box at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 23/08/10. Deep gold with a slight haze. The JDW "best of the west" cider festival tasting notes are unclear whether this was the dry or medium version, but it certainly tasted like the latter to me. Easy drinking with plenty of fresh apple juice, a slight mineral edge and tart finish. Very drinkable.
