Single variety medium perry 2022. A fruity, summery drink, spicy and oaky with a hint of burnt orange. Punchy taste at the start, followed by a smooth finish. Made in a small batch of 80 litres from a single tree in a remnant orchard in the Monnow Valley.

750ml bottle from Cat in the Glass. Bronzy orange gold colour, big foam white head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of perry pear, mucky funk. Taste is tangy, fruity, perry pear, with oak, smoke, orangey citrus, and some woody tannin. Medium bodied, light carbonation, drying citric & tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
