Dark brown and flat. The aroma is the usual sticky syrup of this style. The taste is the same - very sweet, thick, brown sugar taste with a very sweet sugary finish. Hits the style well enough.

Canned. Black with frothy beige head. Spun sugar, syrup and caramelly malt are obvious. Lightly bready with a touch of raisiny wort. Rounded but syrupy mouthfeel. Instead of bitterness it finishes with dextrose. Sort of decent malzbier.

This is one of those beers that makes you a little wary just looking at the bottle. Pours like a Porter, really dark brown with a medium thick light brown head that dissipates immediately. Very little lacing. Super sweet malt aroma. Medium-bodied but the cloying sweetness is so overpowering this beer is impossible to drink. I liken it to drinking Coca-cola syrup. All malt, molasses, caramel - anything sweet you can put in a beer. It never lets up. The finish is sickeningly sweet as well, making this for a drain pour. Only a person with an insatiable sweet tooth would enjoy this.
