ABV: 9.6%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted molasses, chocolate, sweet malt, dark malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, roasted, molasses, chocolate sweet malt, dark malt, ash - licorice touch. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming. [20240215]

33 cl bottle @ home. Batch #80, BBE 06/2026 Aroma has licorice, soy sauce and some coffee. Flavour has salty licorice, soy sauce, some rubbery tones. Harsh rubbery bitterness in the finish. Herbal aftertaste with ash. Not my thing.

Smell of coffee. Dark brown colour, brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, ash. Soft plentiful carbon. Bitter, lightly sweet. Almost like a black IPA.

(Bottle, 0.33l, from the brewery, 20230714) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and lightly brown. Aroma had burnt malts, dark chocolate and metal. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, dark chocolate, ash, metal and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A tasty and clean burnt brew.
