Bottle at F-Hoone: pours slightly haxy with a white head. Aroma is fruity, yeasty, boozy. Taste is boozy, fruity, but they sucked at covering up the booze. This not good.

Bottle from Stockmann Tallinn. Pours dark golden amber, some foam on top. Nose has some Belgian yeast, quite fresh overall, fruity apple character. Clean. Taste has some Belgian spices, has some body to it, some intensity in flavour. Not bad and drinks easier than its abv would suggest.

Bottle, batch 2017037, BB 11.06.2019 (from Rimi). Pours golden. Aroma is boozy, sweet, fruits, esthers, yeast. Flavor is sweet and bitter, sugar, esthers, burning booze, fruits. Finish is sugary, boozy, and yeasty. Overall: I guess technically it's my fault that i poured the yeast in, but the yeasty boozy combo isn't my favorite. I don't notice acetone or any other serious brewing flaws, just not a fan of the recipe I guess. Despite the rather low rating, I appreciate what Purtse is trying to do here: I would like to see more Estonian brewers experimenting with different yeasts.

33cl bottle from Rimi, Tallinn. Pours clear golden with a modest, white head. Fairly fruity aroma with notes of Belgian yeast, dried peaches, malt and caramel. Medium sweet with mild fruity flavours and a somewhat bitter finish. Fair enough. --- Beer merged from original tick of Šaht-Matt on 24 Nov 2017 at 21:54 - Score: 6
