Can from BiervanEijk, Steenwijk. Boozy with bourbon, touch of vanilla, brown malts, caramel, alcohol, raisins. Medium sweet with some warming booze in the finish. Medium body. Decent, a bit sharp.

Aroma of sweet raisins, bourbon, caramel, tasty is boozy (too), caramel, vanilla, thin, raisins, too much alcohol in the taste imo, could have been way better with less alcohol (booze) taste

0.44 l can from 'Mr. Hop', canned in August 2023. Clear, very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, beige head. Intensely sweetish-malty, gently fruity, quite yeasty-spicy aroma of raisins, prunes, vanilla, marzipan, coconut, caramel and a touch of overripe banana. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity and a bit boozy taste of caramel, some chocolate, raisins, prunes, marzipan, cognac, vanilla, overripe banana and some coconut, followed by a long, gently bitter, slightly boozy finish. Medium to full body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Quad, quite complex, nice barrel flavours.
