A very pale, light-colored lager brewed in the crisp Japanese style with whole Calrose Rice (not flaked!). Very easy-drinking and light on the palate with a mild floral balance from Oregon-grown Hallertau whole leaf hops. What is "Bochi Bochi", you ask? Well, in Osaka it's "a way of vaguely stating things are neither going extremely well nor are they very bad." We thought that pretty well summed up the brew-day as we figured out how to work with the notoriously sticky Calrose Rice.

12 oz can. Aroma is grassy, vaguely floral. Pours hazy pale yellow with a one finger white head with excellent retention. Taste is lightly sweet, finishing very dry. Crisp, clean, and refreshing.

Almost clear light coloured body with medium head. Hop and ricey aroma. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't taste like a hopped sake. Pleasant body

Aromas are clean, fresh, malty, hoppy adjunct pale lager. Flavors are similar to nose, slightly more sweet than bitter and with decent carbonation to balance. Very drinkable but nothing special.
