Did you know we designed an exclusive beer for Marks & Spencer? High Hopes -West Coast Pale Ale 5% is stocked in 300 M&S stores nationwide and can only be purchased in store.

A West Coast pale ale with fruity aromatics. Extra pale and light crystal malts make up the grist for a lean malt profile with a touch of sweetness to balance out the hop profile of Mosaic, Citra, Chinook, Simcoe and Centennial that brings aromas of ripe citrus fruits and pine needles.

Can from Marks & Spencer, Manchester. Golden with a carbonation and a small head. Has a dry tasting tropical fruitiness, which is evident in its nose too, but not too stated here.

Can from M&S at The Gyle, Edinburgh. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of all yr expected hops - resinous, lime, grapefruit, dank notes too. Taste is chewy with hops, skunky in a good way, faint citrus, faint malt backbone. Not bad.

[44cl can from M&S, Camberley.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a peaky cream-coloured head; fruity yeast aroma with some apple; an explosion of hops in the mouth with sharp grapefruit; pine resin and tropical fruit all blending together nicely; then a soothingly bitter finish with pale biscuity malts. Really good.

Clear deep straw / pale gold with a frothy white head, and a mango and grape-like aroma. The taste is predominantly bitter with some citrus fruit on the side, and a lovely smooth mouthfeel, finishes with a lasting mild bitterness
