Wicked Hoppy
Huge whirlpool additions and double dry hopped with Simcoe, Citra, and Mosaic lend tropical melon, guava, pineapple, and grapefruit flavors and aromas. A dry body and crisp finish make it deceptively drinkable and wicked hoppy!

Draft pour, clear light gold. Hint of white grape on the aroma. This one was underwhelming compared to the head hunter. Hints of guava, pineapple but fairly light. The bitter overrides the hops.

Can from the One Big Hoppy Family mixed 12-pack from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear straw gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Pineapple bomb on the nose with some durian, dragonfruit and citrus aromas. Dank as it warms with more pineapple on the palate. Drying finish with pineapple, prickly pear and dragonfruit. Killer stuff!

Can. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a half finger of white foam - some lacing and clinging to side of glass. Aromas are fairly lemony at first, but mellow out a bit to a more subdued fruit medley in short order. Not sure I will be patient enough to wait to see if it changes profile as it warms. Flavors are mildly fruity, but kind of in a nondescript way... maybe a bit of pear and white grape with a lightly resinous backside. Balance is good but this one is on the hops-forward side of the spectrum. There is just enough malt there to keep it from sliding into the hop tea category but it could be a bit more chewy for my tastes (and that is something I almost never say!)
