Cottontail is an IPA brewed with mostly Mosaic and a bit of Simcoe and Citra. This beer was designed specifically to showcase our current lot of Mosaic, which we are quite happy with.

It is upfront and punchy with a big range of juicy fruit and dank notes. We taste leafy blueberry bush, resin, mango, and mandarin orange.

Flight pour at Darby's. Pours opaque yellow with white head. Aroma has orange pith and mango. Flavour is the same, very pulpy. Chalky and bitter. Surprisingly thin on the palate. Not convinced Superflux has more than one recipe for a DIPA.

Opaque greyish yellow. Thin head. Some juicy stone fruit accents, followed by hop burn and thin malt. Finishes the same.

Feb 13, 2026 (7/3/7/3/15=3.5): Poured from 473mL can (pkg 01-12-2026). Hazy gold with white head. Light berry hops, feint resin, mild creaminess, okay.

Aug 15, 2024 (7/3/7/3/16=3.6): Poured from 473mL can (pkg 07-26-2024). Interesting to see that there are two raters from out of town (granted there's Superflux Cabana), but no Vancouver raters yet - shows how underwhelming Superflux has become that the local raters don't care to search out their beers now. Murky yellow with minimal white head. Tropical and berry-like hops with some hop burn. More palate-able than most recent Superflux beers. Okay.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy gold yellow with yeast particles that sink to the bottom and a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves soapy curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of bready pale malt, orange, mango, pineapple, strawberry, earthy yeast and floral hops. Sweet fruity flavour of bready pale malt, grapefruit, blueberry, mango, papaya, earthy yeast and light piney hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Medium body with a soft, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Juicy and delicious.
