Tap at brewery. Amber color with beige gead. Aroma of caramel malt, light hoppy touch. Taste is chocolate, coffee, no hops, light caramel. Bad.

Tap at the brewpub. Murky ruby-brown body, creamy thick off-white head. 8% on 14°?!? Huh. Creamy aroma, dried fruit esters, dark fruit esters, blackberries, blueberries, caramelly maltiness. Soft taste, caramel, bubblegum, molasses, mild roasty touches, esters, herbal hoppy touches. Tasty really. Ends dry and bitterish, but not as dry as one might expect. Not sure if it's intentionally Belgian or not (edit: it is probably), but a well made beer overall!
