Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren, thanks! Pitch black coloured, small to medium sized brown head, green apple and wet wood in the nose. Same as Bourbon version the taste is boozy, wet wood and touch of vanilla with again boozy finish.

0.5 l bottle thanks to Marko, shared with Ogi and him. Oily black, small head. Aroma is roasty, solvent and green apple. Oily, tart, roasty flavour. Dark chocolate, charred wood. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, dry finish.

Bottle, huge thx HP and others! Shared with Hrabren and Ogi. Pitch black body, off-white head. Enormous acetaldehyde and paint in the aroma, tart, perfumey... urgh.... Lean, sweetish caramelly taste, blueberry, light barrel, some minty tartness, questionable if I can get some cognac, some vanilla maybe, some further acetaldehyde. The base beer had obviously failed and this didn't help much.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a light brown head. Intense boozy Cognac aroma, some unclean glue as well - overpowering the roastiness of the base beer. Solid body, but not overwhelmingly so. Dry roastiness with some licorice notes, but also an unclean, gluey barrel aging with a fusty edge. that isn't really doing anything good for the beer. Too dry, too unclean. Pity. 131123
