Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren, thanks! Pitch black coloured, minimal brownish head, green apple and whiff of bourbon in the nose. Light roasted malt, wet wood, bourbon and green apple with quite boozy finish.

0.5 l bottle thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague, shared with Ogi and him. Oily dark brown, small head. Solvent at first, light green apple, roasty underneath. Roasty and toasty, nutty flavour. Oily, smooth, boozy. Dry finish.

Bottle, huge thanks Papsoe and the guys. Very dark brown-black body, off-white head. Huge solvent-driven aroma, acetaldehyde-solvent really, some cocoa and cookies underneath. Lean dry taste, cocoa, lightly bitterish touches, ending dry, bit astringent, lightly tart, minerally, warming... dunno... not sure what the barrel improved - and I'm worried about the base beer if it actually improved anything.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an opaque black with a brown head. Unclean gluey nose and unfortunately very little Bourbon. Solid, roasty body with some licorice. But way too dry, lacking some residual sweetness. The wood impact is faint and what there is is unclean. Simply too poor a base beer and a no good barrel. 131123
