0.75 l bottle thanks to Ogi who brought it from France, shared with Marko and him. Clear ruby red, small off-white head. Light aromas of dried fruit, earthy, caramel, cardboard and metal. Soft nutty, bready, caramel, cardboard and dried fruit flavour. Light body, quite dry, some bitterness, soft to moderate carbonation. Sweetness.

0.75l bottle. Brown-amber clear body, off-white head. Huge beetroot aroma, earthy, some caramelly maltiness underneath. Lean taste, caramel, cereals, soapy notes, nutty, and slightly lighter beets than in the taste, bit creamy, mild bitterness at best, if that. I like the mouthfeel, the rest is, erm, a mild mess. Eh, dunno. Can finish it but cannot enjoy it much. --- Beer merged from original tick of Dauphiné Face Nord La Pointe Rousse on 24 Jan 2024 at 21:11 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 4 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 5.5.
