IPA – INDIA PALE ALE – Léto je sice ještě daleko, ale to nic nemění na tom, že se s námi můžete podívat do prosluněné Austrálie, stačí zavřít oči, přivonět ke sklenici plné voňavých australských chmelů a napít se výtečného svěžího piva v podobě IPA, které dostalo díky extra světlému sladu krásnou slunečnou barvu.

Tap. Golden light ambe color with thi k white head. Aroma of light malt, earthy and citrus hops. Taste starts Malty followed by earthy hops, oxidation, light citrus hops.

* Nice Australian hoppy IPA. *
Clear golden. Long lasting white head. Hops, citrusy, herbal, light sweet, medium bitter. Medium body.

Tap at Vyhoukaná Sova, Olomouc, tap takeover in Feb 2024. Trying to be fair here. Tart citric-onion aroma. Lean, dry, bitter taste, grainy, some stale tropical touches, sweaty, white grapes, grainy... Oh joy. I was generous last time but this isn't good even today. Tap at the Jiříkovo vidění fest, JZP, late October (26?) 2023. Golden body, ivory head. Citric aroma, light bitter chlorophenols in the aroma. More citric hoppy notes in the taste, heading towards a light bitterness, but yeah, the chlorophenols are creeping up here. Not as bad as Gajdoš was that day, but maaaan. Hope to try it in its proper shape and form, again! 6/4/5/3/11

Nach einen ziemlich mäßigen Pale Ale freue ich mich schon auf dieses Bier, das mir die Kellnerin bringt. Und ich werde nicht enttäuscht. Es ist ein schön gehopftes IPA mit australischen Hopfen (Hopfenpellets sind leicht und einfach zu transportieren, darum können es auch ökologisch bewusste Menschen trinken). Im Geruch ist es schon deutlich grasig-kräuterig wie eine Sommerwiese. Nach einem ebenso heu-igen Einstieg lässt es zwischenzeitlich etwas nach um dann im Nachhall wieder mit fruchtigen Noten durchzustarten. Da ich es vom Fass bekomme, ist es auch wunderbar süffig. Kann man durchaus empfehlen.
