Fire in the Hole je naší první tříhlavou kooperací.
Fire in the Hole is our first three-headed collaboration. Our friends from Čestmír and Záhora breweries joined us for a very enjoyable brewing session involving a bucket of Vojta’s home-smoked malt as well as some German beech-smoked malt. Not too much though. We strived for a soft, pale helles beer with a light touch of smoke for complexity. Sort of a gateway beer for rauch-novices as well as a drinkable treat for seasoned smoke-lovers that we can imagine drinking over a long summer evening somewhere in a bierkeller.

21.12.2023. Can. Thin body, med-med-high carbonation. Feels watery, but not in a bothersome way. Easy drinking, with low sweetness and med-light bitterness. Med-light smoke, maybe even medium, it is definitely there, providing subtle beech, and also a bit phenolic spicy character. Tasty, very good. 8,1
7.7.2025. Tap at Sibeeria Taproom. Thin body, med carbo. Med bitterness, low sweetness, quite dry. Smoke is the star here. Assertive amounts of beech smoke, with some light twist in the background. Interesting, tasty, bold and strong. Still easy drinking. Excellent. 8,8

Canned from Pivní zastávka I guess. Yellow-golden body, white head. Herbal, lightly sourish aroma. Lean taste, herbal, lightly sour, bit smoked, bit floral, drinkable even if it's not the smokiest beer around.
