Aus der Flasche im 2024-09 getrunken. Dieses Weizenbock macht ja so richtig Spaß mit seinen deutlichen Hefe- und Bananen Aroma. Überraschend war das feine, sehr gut dosierte Nelkenaroma.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orange golden colour with average, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Wheaty malty, floral hoppy and slightly yeasty fruity aroma, hints of banana and chamomile. Taste is wheaty malty, floral hoppy and yeasty fruity, hints of banana and chamomile, some residual sweetness. Slightly creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, creamy, mildly prickly carbonation. Well crafted, nicely hopped, a tad simple and monotonous - enjoyable.

0,33 l bottle. Cloudy pale amber in the glass, small one finger white head. BB 01/2025. Soft pale fruity aroma, some yeast and wheat. But not a lot. Taste has dry orange, some rhubarb, banana, some wheat. Little bit dry and alcoholic. Not as sweet and less clove as expected. Dry orange and banana in the aftertaste. Not bad.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before January 2025. Hazy, deep amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently yeasty-spicy, minimally fruity-floral aroma of honey, banana, clove and some pear with a touch of pineapple. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, quite yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity-floral taste of honey, banana, clove, pear and some pineapple, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Interesting Weizenbock, relatively fruity, not nearly as deep as the best ones from Bavaria.
