Canned from DBW. Floral notes Lots of caramel malt and bitter hops and resin. A good EC style IiPA, think DFH 90 min.

Pours a mostly clear copper gold color. It smells of citrus, stone fruit, and hop resin. The flavor is similar with solid bitterness. Medium body. There’s a lingering hoppy finish that’s quite pleasant.

Can off the buck clearance rack. I had to try this since linusstick already did. Pour is slight haze on a pale orange beer. Nose is heavy volatile scary pine. First big swig is certainly tons of bitter hops that start off a little sweet then increases in bitterness after a few moments until it peaks at terribly on style. Slight warming sensation on the palate. As I approach the middle, I'm getting some pine tar mixed with awful green rotting grapefruit rinds, again frightfully on style. I do get just a hair of co2 but holy mackerel, I could use a little more to get my mind of this flavor, blast. As I approach the bottom of the can, I'm starting to think this just may induce a gag reflex in this macro pale lager lover of a ratebeerian; again immensely on style, blah. This stuff is so bad bleakly brutal & bloodthirsty bitter. Its leaving my taste buds broken backhanded and roto-tilled barren. Finally, as I get in the last couple of gulps I start to feel the effect of the alky content. I think its extra dopamine headed to the reward enter of my brain. Oddly, even tho I detest this stuff, it makes me want to drink more! Just like watching a train wreck in east palestine. Well either way I know this brew is one nasty appallingly on style double impy IPA. There, you have it. Gahhhh.

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear orange gold with a finger of off-white foam that dissipates quickly. No lacing on the glass. Aromas of candied orange, lemon jelly, caramel and booze. Light on the palate but quite sweet. Grape and more candied citrus. Warming and boozy finish. A bit too sweet and candy-ish for me.
