Det här öet bryggdes år 2022 och har i lugn och ro fått mogna på ståltank till ett i vårt tycke perfekt Barley wine. Som slutfinish har vi valt att lagra det på rödvinsfat från Bordeaux. Ölet med maltig kropp, toner av torkad frukt och dadlar, ackompanjeras nu av harmoniserande toner av färska röda bär, ek och tanniner. Allt med en varm och torrare avslutning.

Flaska. Sötman är påtaglig. Men det smakar som en kombination av söta bär, vanilj och kola, så den är inte överväldigande sliskig. Alkoholen smyger och värmer i bakgrunden. Mjuk och omfamnande munkänsla. Snyggt!

Solid evening sipper. Amber pour and a small tan head Fine intensity in the aroma. Ok sweetness for a beer like this and an oily texture. Fruity, toffee, oak and a bit vinous flavor. Well masked alcohol level [Bottle from Systembolaget in Grebbestad, Sweden]
