Our first double IPA. Centennial, Nelson Sauvin, Idaho 7, Eclipse and Galaxy stack together like a dream tetris run. Just the right amount of malt sweetness and hop bitterness hold together our biggest IPA ever.

Pours gold with a large lasting head.Nose shows heavy pine and resinous hops, clean malt, a slight petrol-like hop note. Bold.Flavours match. Heavy pine, clean malt with a bit of sweetness to balance the aggressive bitterness, lots of resinous notes throughout. A bit of grapefruit also.

Draft at Molly rose. Deep clear golden colour with a white head. Malty and tropical fruit. Slight sweet to bitter. Medium to full body.

Can. Clear golden amber with a 2cm fluffy white head that's never quite gone. I'm still of the view that hoppy beers are about complementarity more than quantity and this is promising - mango skin melding with biscuit, a melange of citrus, some peach, pine. Some caramel and biscuity sweetness without much body with stone fruit and hints of resin, then mostly tenor register citrus before a strong piney bitter end. Perhaps a pine heavy for me, but very good.
