Bottle at home, from Craft Metropolis online (IIRC), 12/04/2025.
Pitch black with a tan cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is chocolate, dark malts, coffee, molasses, maple syrup.
Taste comprises chocolate melt, maple syrup, brown sugars, molasses, dark malts, coconut fudge.
Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Sips well for 15% but a little overly sweet for my liking and lacking some balance on that front.

2023 vintage bottle from Livonia Liquor. Pours a viscous, pitch black with a tiny of brown head that dissipates. Monster notes of whiskey on the nose with oak, maple syrup and cinnamon. Vanilla, cinnamon and maple syrup on the palate with a warming whiskey finish. Oak throughout. Great example of a modern thicc-boi imperial stout.
