[ As Munkebo Hjemstavn Stærk Dansk Ale ].Unclear dark amber brown color with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, toasted - roasted, sweet malt, candy - brown sugar - date - plum - yeast. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, candy - brown sugar - yeast, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160519]

From tap. Pours clear and golden amber with a fully gone head. Head. Roasted malty and caramelish. Toasted malty and caramelish. Sweet and overripe fruity finish.

Fra fad på DØE dag 1, sammen med Steven: utseende og aroma minner om sherry. Et vinøst øl med lækker og let bitterhed. Meget fyldig og rund. Mandler, svisker, appelsin og rosiner. Grapefrugten sniker sig ind når temperaturen stiger (i glasset).

KØ16. Good bready aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Quite sweet flavour. Mild bitterness and bready flavour. On the sweet side.

Hazy dark amber with a small white head. The aroma has malt, banana, dates and plums, but also notes of green apples and lacquer. Sticky sweet flavour, with malt, banana, dried fruit and alcohol. Like an extra strong weizenbock, and not a particularly good one.
