Draft at Kompaan, Binnenhaven. Poured a clear black colour with a lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is big peaty roasty malt. The flavour is moderate liquorice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, dry, peaty, liquorice, alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

A black beer with a beige head. Aroma of strong peated malt, whiskey, wood. Taste of peated dark malt, whiskey, wood, caramel, coffee.

On tap at Het Lagerhuys, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is loaded with intense smoke of the campfire variety, with medium roast and some ash. Flavour is very smoky, with lots of campfire smoke, lots of roast, and dry earthiness. Balanced despite how intense it is. Excellent.
