Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is brown malt with caramel and notes of chocolate and coffee. Fairly bitter for the style with a moderate sweetness. Medium body. Fine Bock.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Toasted malt aroma with caramel, toffee, light cocoa, fruity notes with some red fruits in there. Flavour is moderate sweet with a relatively bitter finish for a Dunkler Bock. Body is medium. Nicely fruity and bitter for the style, I really like this one.

33 cl. can @ home, bought @ Plus Culemborg. Dark brown with a full off-white head. Nutty roasted malts with some dark caramel. Sweet taste with a low bitter finish. Quite full bodied for a Dutch bock. Nice one.

Nice clear reddish brown, plenty of off-white head. Smells caramelly, malty. Little bit thin, but otherwise fair body. Taste is caramelly, but not as sweet as many of the macro autumn bocks here. Some toastyness, and some light bitter. Not bad at all.

Donkerbruin bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is vol en licht bitterzoet met iets van karamel, toffee en wat noten. Voor mij een van de betere bock bieren.

Bottle from Beerwulf. Pours a murky chestnut brown colour with a thinnish soapy looking beige head. Aromas of caramel and nuts. Taste is again more caramel and nuts with some added roasty notes. Medium bodied, fair amount of carbonation on the palate and a long roasty and bitter finish. One of the better Dutch bocks i have tried. Good
