Deze zesde editie van 2022 is een nieuwe combinatie in de vorm van een Black IPA gerijpt op een Vatted Island Single Malt Whisky vat. De smaken hebben langer de tijd gekregen om elkaar te versterken. Het resultaat is een enorm complex Barrel Aged bier met veel diepgang in de afdronk.

Sampled at Oirschots Bierfestival 2024. Nearly black color, small off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, hops, light iodine, band aid, quite heavy on that part. It dominates the hops which I suppose should be in there but aren't really detectable. Mwah. Not very good as a BIPA. 8-7-6-7-6

Geprobeerd op het Brabants Speciaalbier Festival in Oirschot met LiekevdV, Inoven, Benzai en Roelzie. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een dun bruinig schuim. Het heeft een aroma van whisky en turf. De smaak is vol, gebrande mout, turf en whisky.

Glas gedronken tijdens Brabants bierfestival 2024 in Oirschot. Diep donkerbruin bier met mooie schuimkraag die als een film blijft staan. Aroma van hout en mout. Smaak is houtig en moutig. Nasmaak heeft wat pit.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma has obvious woody notes. Some sweet malty whisky. Very light smokiness. Subtle forest fruit . Bitter earthy piney hop.
