For our 10th edition of Locavore Winter, we have brewed a Dry Irish Stout sourcing the finest Irish ingredients – Wicklow Mountain water, Hops from the 2023 harvest on our hop farm and hop garden at the brewery and our own Malted Barley that we grew in the field behind the brewery. Locavore is a beer that champions local ingredients, terroir and sustainability.

Expect a full flavoured stout that is packed with roast malt flavours and floral hop bitterness. This dark, roasty stout finishes with a clean, smooth, dryness that will leave you wanting more.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Black, creamy beige head. Earthy, spicy licorice aroma. Dry with medium body and and rounded mouthfeel. Earthy licorice and coffee. Spicy bitter finish. A vital, flavourfulIrish stout.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pitch black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is toasted malts, some floral tones with a bit tea leafs and a bit toffee. Flavour is roasted, some floral, mild wooden and some toffee tones. A bit roasted and chocolaty tones in the aftertaste. Nicely somewhat dry stout.

[ As Wicklow Wolf Locavore Winter 2023 ].
ABV: 5.6%. Clear dark red brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted, roasted, dark malt, nutty touch, moderate hoppy, grass, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, milk coffee - sugary coffee, dark malt, dusty, roasted, toasted, nutty - dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20240323]

Can 44 cl. Pours an opaque black with an orange hue and a small, rough, beige head. Medium body, lightly sweet roast, toffee and licorice. Some black malt bitterness. Very drinkable. 120324
