0,5 l bottle from Netto, Blåvand. Murky golden in the glass, more than an one finger white foamy head. Sweet fruity aroma with pale grain. Taste is more grainy, increasing floral hop, pale grain. All in a lower level. Little bit cardboardy. Not in a way that you really expect under a DIPA flag.

fruity malty aroma, not DIPA more like a malty pale ale. Flavor is malty, some fruity and exotic fruity notes, not fresh fruity, more old and cardboardy fruity. not refreshing. like a so-so macro commercial wannabe ipa. Tasting the beer I had to check the date to see if it was past its prime. best before jan. 2026 - so not that. it's just a flat boring brew that should not have been named anything IPA, certanly not DIPA. Måske mente de Doven-IPA.

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of caramel, spices, citrus fruits, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, spices, and citrus malt, leading to a bitter finish. DIPA it is not.

Bottle. Pours slightly cloudy light amber with medium white head. Aroma is malt, spruce, orange, mango, almond perfumed soap and hibiscus. Taste is light to medium sweet, medium to very bitter and faint acidic. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and balanced sweet and bitter with notes of orange, mango, spruce, almond perfumed soap, hibiscus, lemon and very faint hints liquorice root. Nice and easily drinkable. Appearance: -1 for the dull label.

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Hazy orange colour, small head. Grassy, spicy nose with a touch of butter. Mid sweet with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Spicy and doughy, grassy and buttery with long bitter finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque deep orangey golden with a small off-white head. Faint herbal hops in the nose. Medium bodied with a slightly sweet fruitiness and again these herbal hops. Solid finishing bitterness. Lacking on the aroma side, but otherwise a pretty solid old school IPA. 010323

Bottle, 5.7%. I do not know why they called this a DIPA, and I feel scammed. Ok fruity aroma, citric aroma hops. Hazy copper colour. Stable plasticky white head. The flavour is citric at first, ok malty with a good mouthfeel. A decent IPA, but not a DIPA.
