Bottle. Color: Black, thin brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, Bourbon, some chocolate and hints of coffee. Taste: Well balanced mix of roasted malt, coffee, Bourbon (incliding vanilla), dark chocolate. Boozy, bit warming mouthfeel. Smooth, lactose. Dry bittery backbone. Full body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet and over moderate to medium bitterness. I'm not a fan of lactose, but besides that it's a very nice Imperial Stout.

Bottle from HavnensVinOgTobak. Pours clear very dark brown with small brown head. Aroma is intense roasted malt, vanilla, coconut, soy sauce, prunes, oak barrel, port wine, apricot jam, brown sugar, sweet liquorice and hints of rich beef stock. Taste is medium to very sweet, medium bitter, faint to light acidic and light to medium salty. Body is light creamy with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long, very rich and balanced sweet, bitter and salty with intense notes of liquorice, roasted malt, vanilla, coconut, soy sauce, prunes, oak, port wine and Vegemite. Very rich and intense. Apperance: +1 for the nice label.

Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, chocolate, coffee, barrel, iron, toffee - vanilla, maple syrup. Bottle @ Website. Pours Black with a small beige head. A bit fluffy. Medium bodied not too viscous, Sweet but not sickening. Good roast, Dark fruit and Wood. Well rounded with a pleasant warmth. Quite Nice.

Black with a lasting off-white head. Roasted aroma with chocolate, liquorice, dark sugar and dried fruit. Sweet and full bodied roasted flavour with lots of dark sugar and dried fruit and a touch of smoke.
