A supremely fruity bittersweet variety. Major is favorite on Broome Farm. This single variety takes two different years of Major blended together to create a strong bodied cider. Ideal paired with rich flavours such as dark chocolate.

Bottle at home picked up from the yew tree inn, ross on wye. A mostly clear golden orange fading loose white head. Aroma is dry pithy apple, plastic, woody, barky wood. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, tang, light metalic, bitter wood, bark , dry pithy finish.. woody apple. Palate is semi sweet, woody apple, dry pithy, mealy apple. Good.

500ml bottle from Cideronline. 6.0%. Hazy orange golden colour, no lasting head and mucky funky fruity apple aroma. Taste is fruity apple, some tartness, apple skin, bittersweet with barnyard and woody notes plus drying tannins. Medium bodied, low to medium carbonation, dry earthy tannic finish. Quite drinkable

0.5L bottle (from Siidrimaja). Pours hazy orange-amber with whiteish head. The head doesnโ€™t stay. Aroma is sour, sweet, somewhat metallic, some horse manure (from sniffing the bottle). Flavor is mild sweetness, apples, some sourness, some dryness. Finish is dry bitter with some booze and sugar. Body is bit thin, but the dryness in the finish makes up for it. Overall: another good cider from these guy(s). Honestly if all ciders were as good as Ross on Wye ciders, I would drink a lot more ciders. You can call me a fanboy of them :)
