The Alaskan Pilsner, golden straw in color with a fluffy white head, is extremely clean and crisp – highlighting a slight malty sweetness that finishes with a moderate bitterness that won’t linger longer than the ‘aaah’ that will escape your lips. Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 5.5 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 7
Can. Clear golden pour with a smallish white head. The aroma is straw and some grass. The taste is corn, thyme, minerals and grass in a cracker malt base. Also, I get a metallic element in the taste. The palate is full and viscous. Finishes short and dry with a bit of straw spice. Overall: OK easy drinking pils but not particularly distinguished.
