Drawing inspiration from the grand silk moth Actias Luna, our new 9% ABV Triple IPA, akin to its predecessor Attacus Atlas, captures the essence of this remarkable creature. Named for this moth’s vivid lime-green wings and solid build, our mondo-haze IPA goes beyond aesthetics. It shares the same impressive gravity and opulent, juicy, GREEN flavor profile as its namesake. Actias Luna showcases supermassive amounts of one of our favorite Oregon-grown hops that we hand-selected this year, Strata. Just as these saturniid moths are among the largest insects, our beer stands as a testament to hoppy greatness, delighting hopheads with every can opened.

This pint came by way of Half Time, much appreciated. I have a snifter from Buffalo Bayou, a gone but not forgotten brewery, in place for the sampling. The body is an indistinct medium gold completed by a heroic top of creamy, absolutely white foam. I smell citrus, papayas and grain. The taste is properly hazy style with some WC effect, a blend I appreciate. Grapefruit, a healthy malt backbone, a bit of mangoes, pineapple, white bread and a formidable hops bitterness, again that throw-back IPA influence. Well done this time, I can say the same about other Parish offerings.

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 15/09/2025.
Moderately hazed orange to golden topped with a just off white head.
Nose is melon, lychee, guava, grass, raw pineapple.
Taste comprises ripe melon, mixed tropicana, hop spice, pine resin, dank chimes, grapefruit.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come lightly resinous hop bitterness allied to a mellow boost.
Tidy enough, if not a blow you away DIPA, with an old skool vibe.

Can. A light haze on this orange gold, small pale cream colour head, doesn't last long. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, fairly dry, a thin creamy sweetness. Strata hops bring crisp cooling pine, a decent hop spice nip. Bitter hop fruits, kinda generic hop fruits, nice enough, don't get any passion fruit. Crisp finish brings more of the same. Like this but, once again Strata doesn't deliver on the passion fruit front, not for me anyway.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Cloudy, orange gold color. Dense, pillowy white head. Regal lacing. Fragrant citrus aroma hints at pineapple, grapefruit, orange and lime. Flavor mirrors nose. Big notes of bittersweet citrus and sticky pine. Underlying sweetness balances the dank piney hops. Boozy notes on the backend. Quite a beer!

Pours a hazy, orange-pineapple, with smallish head. Aroma is dank, with citrus and tropical fruit, along with a sour washcloth note. Flavor follows. Moderately sweet underneath, with a mild level of hop bitterness at the finish. Soft mouthfeel. Not really sure I'm a big Strata hops fan...
