Marrón oscura, casi negra. Espuma abundante cremosa, beige. Buen aspecto. Aroma a malta tostada con un punto terroso. En boca gas punzante, y notable amargor. Tostada, café. Seca. Ligeramente ácida.

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 20A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L0032015. AROMA: mild roasted and sweet malt aroma with notes of chocolate and caramel, mixed with a faint medicinal aroma. no hop aromas. APPEARANCE: dark brown color and opaque with a lot of material in suspension. thin brown head with poor retention. TASTE: roasted malt flavour with a dark bitter chocolate and some traces of diacetyl and chlorophenols. medium-high bitterness with a dry and almost burnt finish. PALATE: medium-light to light body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a porter (from the new American Porter style), that needs some improvements.
