Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Spicy, yeasty aroma - phenols as well. Medium body, some fruity sweetness but then a lemony tartness comes rushing in. Again clearly infected, but in a strange way it doesn’t feel too hopeless here. Bottom line though, yet another infected Amphora beer. 231215

AROMA: initial sour aroma with very faint background notes of wheat malt. cooked vegetables and yeast derived notes are present with a very faint spicy hop note. esters almost imperceptible. APPEARANCE: pale gold color and slightly hazy. thin white head with very poor retention. almost no carbonation. TASTE: slight sour flavour with a very faint malt background (wheat maybe). Esters almost imperceptible but can remember citrus fruits. almost no bitterness with a slight sour and dry finish. PALATE: light body with poor carbonation. slight alcohol warmth. OVERALL: a saison that needs a lot of improvements regarding aroma, flavor and carbonation.
