From bottle at Borefts 2018. Funky and sour with loads of tart plums in the aroma, besides herbal notes. Light sweet and nicely sour flavour, funky, complexity. Body is medium. Very good!

Bottle 750ml. @ 10th. BBF 2018 [ 10th Borefts Beer Festival 2018 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Tommie Sjef Opal Jubileum ].Unclear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, tart, light caramel, light cherry - almond - plums. Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic with a long to average duration, tart, cherry - almond, sour, dry, plums. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180921] 7-3-7-3-15

Bottle at Borefts2018 Friday... Deep red brown.. Thin white lacing.. Soft sweet berries fruit nose.. Sharp acetic funk.. Odd Chinese food reminiscent.. Soft sharp zezty fruits acetic funk... Wierd but i like it

Draft at Borefts 2018. Aroma of tart, grape and acid. Taste has grapes, dry tart, berries and wheat. Nice.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival, Day 1. A bit hazy pinkish-orangy color, no head. Smell and taste sour fruits, sourness, quite some sharp unripe fruits or fruitpeel tart in there. Hmm not as smooth as some other Tommie Sjef beers imo. Not really my thing I guess.

Pinkish with no head. Aroma and flavour are sour and fruity. Tart sherberty notes. Red fruits. Plum? As it warms up there's a background spicy element too.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2018. A slightly hazy reddish amber beer with a small white head. Aroma of tart Strawberry, apples, some vanilla. Taste of tart strawberries, lactic fruits, nice.
