Collaboration with Distant Lands. One of the lowest IBUs that Nerd have done, creating slightly sweeter stout. 2 types of vanilla soaked in a few litres of Bourbon for a week, added post fermentation to make sure the creamy vanilla stands out alongside a bourbon base.

330ml can. Pours jet black with a large head. Aroma is dark chocolate, fudge and vanilla. Taste has dark chocolate, roast and fudge throughout with coffee and a little vanilla on the finish.

Can at Watford Tasting. Cheers Colin. Aroma is malty and chocolatey. Bitter dark chocolate and coffee. Medium bodied. Oily. Average carbonation. Long astringent finish.

Can shared at the Watford tasting . 2024-09-20. Many thanks to Cloin. . A hazed mahogany brown colourd pour with a halo of tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, tangy green apple, brown sugars, brandy snap sugars, oily. burnt custard tart. Palate is super tangy, green apple, oily, moderate carbonation. Little harsh.

Can split at the farewell to Monica tasting, Watford, from HOTM online 20/09/24. Black with a bog old dirty tan head. Nose is chocolate, toffee fudge, spice, dark malts, nutty. Taste comprises cocoa powder, spice, charr, dark malts, nutty, toffee, booze kissed. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Tidy enough impy stout if struggling to hit a good level in 4th gear.

Bottleshare at Chez Frog. Thanks to Cloin for the can. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, decent fine carbonation. Rich dark malts, good dark chocolate, a little dark chocolate Malteasers. Modest ripe fruits. A slightly thin finish.

Tap @MBCC 2024, Yellow Session. Black, tan head. Nutty, coffee and roasted malt aroma. Sweet flavour, nuts, bitter roast and coffee, some boozy bitterness.
