The oaken monstrosity terrorized the countryside, crashing his lumbering frame into houses, leaving a trail of utter devastation. Garron the Valiant, seeking fame for his family, stole his father’s horse and sword, and left in the night to murder the monster. The carnage led him to a hill, behind which the barrel behemoth demolished a village. Garron shrieked, raised his sword, and drove his spurs into his father’s horse to gallop to the summit, face-to-face with the four-barreled nightmare. “Oh My Quad,” he breathed, as the barrels pummeled him into the soft earth.
Oh My Quad is a 13.4% ABV, Barrel-aged Belgian-style Ale in the Grand Cru tradition. This brewpub original evokes dried, pitted fruits through its combination of select yeast, malts, and dried cherries to showcase what we love most about big, Belgian beer.

hazy brownish amber colour, medium sized dense beige-ish head; aroma of intensive sour cherry, dark chocolate, earhy and woody notes, as well as slight bourbon notes; taste has the same notes as can be felt in the aroma with some sourishness; good quadrupel

Capped 375 from Bruisin’ Ales. Pours shiny dark copper with a transient beige head. Aroma is sort of French toast! With dark fruit. Kind of woody. Med ++ or full body. Flavor is woody, cherry, Something like fortified wine. Heat is only in the gullet for me. Very undry, fruity finish. Excellent flavors. Port type finish. Nice ale.

Bottle, 13.4% ABV (as wicked weed oh my quad - barrel aged quadruple ale brewed with cherries), bottled 11.10.16 (from beergium). Pours amber with beige head. The small head stays. Aroma is sweet, fruits, raisins, malt, apples, cherries. Flavor issour, sweet and bitter, fruits, cherries, malt, raisins, dark plums. Finish is bitter and sour with some booze. Overall: very good, like the cherry thing, but bit sugary and overdone (aka not convinced they can do good proper no gimmicks quad).

Florals and some citrus. Dark brown pour with good head and lacing. A hint of smoke, and some watered down prune like you put too much ice in the blender with it. Light tangy finish. Tap at Sovereign.

This beer is a dark copper-mahogany color with a medium thick light beige head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. The aroma consists of dark fruit, yeast and malt. Full-bodied with flavors of figs, earthy yeast, cherry and caramel malt. The finish is slightly syrupy with a lingering dark fruit and malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

10 oz. draft at Tip Tap Room, Boston. Appearance is a deep ruby / brown color and white head. Smell the prunes, alcohol-saturated cherry, rock candy, Belgian sugar, molasses, and brown sugar.

Taste is raisins, dates, plums, molasses, and sweet malts. Positive item: mouthfeel is good with no visible alcohol. Negative flaw is the amount of sugar that resides in the finish. It is well made but doesn’t make me say "Oh My God". Perhaps a little age would help?

Pours deep amber into a Trappist glass. Tan head with little retention recedes to pool surface. Sweet caramel and cherry aromas. Thick with dark cherry pits and skin upfront turning to dry toffee before the lasting warming cherry finish.

Bottle from Salud. Hazy dark brown color, please see pic. Aroma of boozy cherry fruitcake. Taste is boozy cherry whiskey brownies. Tasty but boozy. Reminds me of an old fashioned.
