Bottle at ash's. Pours black, nose is chocolate, honey, vanilla, pine, taste is sweet toffee, chocolate, sweet dessert wine.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Appearance - jet black with a tan to fawn head. Nose - burnt toffee, malt loaf, salted caramel. Taste - oxidised barrel note, sweet chocolate and honey. Palate - full bodied, sweet then roasty. Overall - good but oxidised note not that appealing.

Bottle thanks to Stuu666. Pours black with a thin tan head. Aromas of honey and dark chocolate. Taste is light barrel funk, heavy chocolate. Sweet finish.

330ml bottle kindly shared by Finn. The oily pour reveals a deep black body under a fawn coloured head leaving fair lacing on the glass. Roasted honeyed chocolate aromas, promising. Solid and rather sweet taste of honeyed chocolate, oaky. Lingering, roasted ending with warmth from the alcohol. Full bodied. Great sipper qualities, just a bit too sweet. (Vervet, Tromsø, 05.08.2024).
