Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 03/12/24. Black topped with a khaki cap that veers to the edge. Nose is dark malts, light roast, molasses, honeycomb, cacao nibs. Taste comprises dark chocolate, spice, Crunchie bar, toffee, molasses, mellow roast, honey dollop. Full bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Okay sipper if a little 1D and lacking some depth for 13.2%.

Near opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. A fairly light palate, decent fine carbonation. Mildly tangy dark malts. The honey is obvious, rich but not overly sweet. The sweet desert wine barrel comes through on the back end. Smooth finish. Comes together well. Could have been a sweet nightmare but it's refined and interesting.

Sampled at Snally2024. People raved about this. Too much. Sweet. Chestnut honey. Carob malt. Just a lot. 12oz needs to be split. 6 4 6 4 13

A black beer, a head is quite small and light brown. Aroma has dried fruits, raisin, dryer barrel, vanilla, some alcohol. Taste has the same dried fruitness of raisin and barrel, light roastiness of dark malts, some sweetness of honey. Full bodied, but not much of stickyness. Intensive.

Bottle (from Alko web). Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some liquorice, quite big on the honey and rather wooden tones. Flavour is really much honey, some liquorice, chocolate and mild liquorice. Kind of meady. Long honey aftertaste. Really sweet. Still oh-so-drinkable.

Smell-weak malt, weak chocolate, weak honey. Foam- thin, malt, weak Carmel, weak chocolate, weak honey. Head is tiny, dark brown in color. Appearance- brewer bottle cap, somewhat simple label. Vax seal. Black in color. From - pint Taste - weak hops, bitter tones, weak malt, then chocolate, faint roast and bit of honey. Alcohol somewhat covered but creeps up. Cant say this is something special though.
