Bottle 0.5l at Kitty’s, Helsinki. Batch nr: 906. Best fore 11/2017. Colour is deep reddish ruby with almost no head. Aromas and flavors: Sugar, sweetness, spices and hints of malts. Reminds me of Finnish mulled wines. And I have seen better mulled wines...

50 cl bottle @ Kitty?s. Batch #906: BBE 11/2017. Aroma has berry juice, some spices and sweet malty tones. Flavour bas berry juice, sugary sweet tones, some spices and sweet malty tones. Also some warming alcohol. Like an oversweet mulled wine in beer world. It would be interesting to try this as warmed. Nothing quadruple-like in the aroma, appearance or taste.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - batch 906 - BBE 11/2017, at William K Kurvi, 20141111) The beer poured ruby red and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had spices, malts, molasses and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied and sticky with medium carbonation. Flavours were sugary sweetness, more sugary sweetness, still some sugary sweetness, malts, dried plum, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was excessively sweet and mildly bitter. I don’t remember when I’ve had beer that was as sweet as this one. The sweetness was overwhelming. Shocking.

Appearance: Hazy unclear amber brownish color with a fine off white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Oak, fruity and some spicy notes.
Palate: Full body. Mild bitterness and a balanced rich sweetness. Average to soft carbonation.
Taste: Balanced sweet fruity, some spices, malty and some oak. Very well hidden alcohol.
Overall impression: Oh yeah man. Spot on. What a lovely beer. The search is on for more!

Flaske 0,5l. Batch 504. Gave fra Lars - tatt med fra Dammark av Rune. Takk til begge! Drukket på RV124 1 Jul 13. Kastanjebrun. Uklar. Veldig uklar i siste kvelling. Raskt dalende skum som blir helt borte. Behagelig aroma av nøtter & trær. Lite kullsyre. Smaken er søt frukt. Godt balansert. Litt sherrypreg. Antydning til granbar. Alkoholen veldig godt kamuflert.

50cl bottle from onkelgobber. Appearance - chestnut brown with a red chink. Nose - raisins, cinnamon, cloves and sweet dark bread, like barrabrith. Taste - oranges, cake mixture and sweet spice again. Palate - medium to full bodied with a big creamy texture and a dry elegant finish. Overall - a lovely complex beer in the Scandinavian tradition.

500ml Bottle - Hazy copper in colour. Wood, vinous fruits, marzipan, malt and spice in the aroma. Rich, fruity and vinous taste with notes of raisins, spicy malt, fruitcake and some woody hints. It’s very rich and perhaps a bit too boozy for my tastes, but it’s still decent.

Botella de 50 cl. En el lupulo. Aroma muy especiado a bayas (junipero?). Sabor también muy especiado - hervaceo. Cuerpo ligero dulce-medio poco carbonico. Color negro con toques granates. Una de navidad peculiar no se sí repetir de nuevo
