Taste is bitter, yeasty, herbal-spicy, sweet-ish, caramel malty, minimally yeasty fruity, hints of clove, cherry, a touch of liquorice root and salmiac. Creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice mouthfeel, not the most flattering flavours - OK.

Sweetish-malty, gently fruity and slightly yeasty aroma of caramel, coconut, cocoa, raisins and prunes. Gently sweet, malty, slightly bitter, gently fruity, quite yeasty and a little roasty taste of caramel, cocoa, hazelnut, raisins, prunes and light clove, followed by a short, gently bitter finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Solid Dubbel.
