Atverot pudelīti, gaisā uzvirmo vasaras nakts dzestrums, bet garšā atklājas rūgti skarba ritma grupa, kuru papildina spirgti salda melodija, kas uz mēles dungojas vēl ilgi. (Bottle, 0.33 l - 5.4 % ABV, as Valmiermuižas etnomūzikas festivals, from the brewery, 20220721) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, metal and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, caramel, metal and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A decent malty brew with mild notes from hops.

50 cl bottle @ Hotel room, Ruoholahti. 2016, 5.6%. Thanks FatPhil! Aroma is a bit off with buttery tones, diacetyl and malt. Flavour has strong butter tones, grassy hops and cardboardy malt. Also minerals. A diacetyl overdose.

50cl bottle from the shop at Valmiermuižas Alus, Valmiermuiža. Pours clear amber with a fairly small, off-white head. Grainy and slightly fruity aroma with notes of honey and diacetyl. Fairly sweet and somewhat unpleasant with a light bitterness. Not a beer I would drink again. --- Beer merged from original tick of Klang on 14 Jun 2016 at 21:34 - Score: 5
