I am 99% sure this "stout" (as advertised) is simply their Original. I'm convinced they have no idea what they're doing. This beer is brown, transparent, and lacking anything that has to do with stouts.

1 l growler from the brewery, filled yesterday. Clear, very dark ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, lots of coffee, toasted hazelnut and caramel. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather roasty taste of caramel, coffee, dark chocolate, toasted hazelnut and traces of licorice, followed by a short, gently roasty-bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent Stout, quite nice for just 4% abv.
