33 cl bottle @ home. Batch #1, BBE 11.2016
Aroma has elements common to aged Belgian ales; raisins, belgian yeast and ripe fruits. Sweet but still pleasant. Flavour has funky yeasty tones, some mild orange-like hoppiness with gooseberry bush and ripe fruits. Finishes dry with some coffee tones. A positive surprise; this is balanced yet somewhat rich – and with good drinkability.
Wow, I read the ratings before me just after my rating and was quite surprised. Still, I stand behind my grading; I find this pleasant.

Pours dark reddish brown, mahogany. Only a little bit of foam, just a thin film that does not really stay. Aroma is sweet and caramelly, some candy sugar and Belgian yeast. Taste is similar, has some elements of a dubbel, strength is also there and even some layered sweet and spicy fruitiness. However, for me the taste sensations are a bit short and the body itself feels somewhat watery - although abc is high and its taste should be quite full. Not really enjoying this but definitely drinkable. Maybe I should try it with some food recommendations?

33cl bottle at Kohvik Retro, Kuressaare. Pours clear chestnut coloured with a fast dissipating off-white head. Malty, almost candy-like aroma with caramel, dried dark fruits and hints of dark bread. Sweet and malty with a light bitterness. Feels a bit thin and watery, carbonation slightly on the soft side, but drinkable enough.

Bottle (shared by suurjuust, thanks). Pours brown with beige head. Aroma is sweet, malt, raisins, apples. Flavor is sweet, candi, malt, some sour notes, dirty dishrag. Finish has more dirty dishrag. Overall: simple with brewing flaws.
