0.75 l bottle from 'Bergmann Stehbierhalle', 2021 version at 5.7% abv and 22 IBU, best before September 2021. Slightly hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, a bit grassy aroma of lemon peel, honey, dried apricot and a touch of fresh grass. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral taste of honey, vanilla, lemon peel, some dried apricot and a touch of fresh grass, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately grassy finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant one, easy to drink, nicely balanced.

Vom Faß: Golden, cloudy, , medium-sized and slowly collapsing white head, sweetish grainy ans worty nose with mineralic and honeyish traces, mild grassy bitterness underneath; sweetish-bitter flavour, residual sugars detectable in light body, both a bit sticky and fizzy; slightly lingering bitter and worty finish. Sigh! Always the same with DBB: the stronger beers are the better beers…
