Mooie volle recht op en neer IPA met IJzerhard of Ridderkruid, wat je misschien beter kent als Verbena. Het geeft deze Pimpelaar vooral een friskruidige geur en smaak.

0.33 l bottle from 'Sterk Avondverkoop', bottled in May 2020 (bought just a few weeks ago). Almost clear, deep orangeish amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity, a little herbal aroma of grapefruit, orange and light spruce. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, slightly fruity, quite herbal taste of orange, grapefruit, spruce and licorice root, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, rather herbal finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not really IPA-ish, rather herbal, probably too old?!
