Vor einigen Monaten haben wir unserem kräftigen Weizenbock ein besonderes Zuhause gegeben. Er reifte in Holzfässern zu einem aromastarken Abenteuer, die zuvor mit feinstem Marsala – dem bekannten sizilianischen Dessertwein – und anschließend mit Whiskey der Destillerie Slyrs vom schönen Schliersee befüllt waren.

0.75 l bottle from the brewery's web shop, best before September 2025. Slightly hazy, ruby with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity aroma of caramel, baked banana, raisins, plum, whisky and vanilla. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity and a bit boozy taste of caramel, raisins, plum, whisky, vanilla, some chocolate and hints of baked banana, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, minimally woody finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very pleasant, harmonious and balanced composition. Quite saturating, proper sipper for the cold season. By the way, it's actually whisky barrel aged, the name is misleading.
