Waldstadt Kellerpils ist eine moderne Interpretation des ursprünglichen Pils von 1842. Die deutsche Abwandlung und das 1901 zum ersten Mal gebraute Pils in Iserlohn geben uns die Inspiration für das Rezept. Feinster Aromahopfen liefert blumige, grasige Aromen und eine durchsetzungsfähige Bitterkeit. Die reinen Malzaromen, kombiniert mit sanften runden Lagerbieraromen, entstehen durch kühle Gärung und lange 6-wöchige Kältelagerung. Das Ergebnis ist ein helles und wunderschönes Kellerpils, das florale Aromen, verlockende Malzaromen und ein charaktervolles Finale zum Ausdruck bringt.

Herber, kernig süß-getreidiger Beginn, moderat hopfig. Die angenehme Süße hält an, spritzig, wenig herb, hohe Süffigkeit. Spritzig, langer kerniger Abgang, hopfi zitrusartig hopfig. Gefällt! 9/9/10/10/10/10

0.33 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before June 2024. Almost clear, golden with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-floral, slightly grassy-spicy aroma of grains, some straw and a touch of lemon peel. Slightly sweet, gently bitter, rather grassy-spicy and slightly fruity-floral taste of grains, straw and some lemon peel, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry, almost peppery finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very decent Pils, much better than the first, overly metallic Waldstadt Pils from a few years ago.
